Job Description:
The Sales Representative is responsible for cold calling through telephone, email, in person in assigned/designated territory. Sales Representative should have the ability to survey and analyze prospective customer needs and requirements. The Sales Representative will have excellent customer skills in order to build strong customer relations. The Sales Representative will work with the Account Manager and the technical team in order to provide deliverables to prospective customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Telephone email and in person cold calls to prospective customers in assigned/designated territory.
- Maintain constant contact with prospective customer.
- Learn to professionally demonstrate equipment to be sold utilizing the Information Technology team.
- Learn and utilize terminology of the document management industry and continue to stay informed on changes in the industry.
- Compose clearly written communication and proposals within a timely manner.
- Monitor ongoing transactions and perform periodic contact with customer, during and after sale is completed.
- Maintain database of contacts and customers, including overview of discussions.
- Provide reports weekly and monthly and/or as requested by supervisor.
- Represent Company in a creditable, honorable and professional manner.
- Maintain all customer and company information as confidential and proprietary.
- Assist in the pricing of quotes and proposals for scanning and microfilming services.
- Ability to review Request for Bids, Proposals, Quotes, Etc.
- Must Review all sales orders, proposals and letters.
Requirements:
- Have a Strong Work Ethic
- Reliable Transportation
- Cell phone and telecommunications to access Company’s database on a regular basis
- Experience handling warm leads and hunting for new leads
- Pass the pre-employment process by submitting to a drug and background check
- Must receive their CDIA+ Certification within 90 days of employment
- Ability to meet sales goals and achieve results while working independently
- Excellent customer skills and ability to build strong customer loyalty
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- At least have 2 to 5 years with directly related sales
- Ability to analyze complex issues and resolve problems in a a timely manner
- Extensive knowledge of document imaging operations and document systems, a plus
- Having knowledge of Digitech, EMC and Kofax products is a big plus
- Experience in ACT, Microsoft Office, Standard Time a plus
